2012.05.12 SANOMAGIC Wooden Bicycle

4月から15号機の製作を開始しています。15号機はT2のフレーム形状を踏襲、フレームアシストを強めます。
マホガニーバイクのアシストを末四郎がわかりやすく解説する動画もあり。

Sueshiro began to produce Mahogany Bike No. 15 since April 2012.
Manogany Bike No. 15 has the same frame geometry as that of T2 to obtain superior frame assist effects.

15号機は6月末の完成を目指して製作が進んでいます。部品の積層はほぼ完了した。
Mahogany Bike 15 will be completed at the end of June 2012.

神奈川県から木工を志す若者二人が来ていた。末四郎の話すネジ組細工の複雑さに驚いている。
Two young men who aimed at woodwork came from Kanagawa Prefecture. They were surprised to see the complication of SANOMAGIC's woodwork.

今日はいい勉強になったことでしょう。今夜はうなされるかもね。自信を持って頑張ってください。
They must have learned much today.

19号機のオーナーと長命さんもやってきた。長命さんは明日5/13、利根川のタイムトライアルに出場。
The future owner of Mahogany Bike No. 19 and Mr. Chomei came. Mr. Chomei is going to entry for a time trial race along the Tonegawa tomorrow.

本番を控えた7号機の代わりに、今日はコルナゴ。バーテープを取ってマホガニーの手触りを楽しんでいるとのこと。
Mr. Chomei uses his CORNAGO because his Mahogany Bike 7 should entry for the tomorrow's race.
Bar tapes were removed from the mahogany handle. He is enjoying the feel of mahogany.

ずいぶんと木造化の進んだコルナゴですな。
The ratio of mahogany parts was considerably improved.

前回とても驚いた弾性支持スピーカの2号機がもうできていた。明日納品だったそうで、納品前に聴けてよかった！
I was amazed to find Mahogany elastically-supporting speaker No. 2 completed already.

2号機は弾性支持の特徴を考慮して、両側面と背面を柾目から響きのよい板目に変更、板厚も最適化した。その効果は歴然。
In consideration of the elastic supporting effects,
Sueshiro made the back plate and the both side plate of cross grain mahogany plates and optimized the thickness thereof.

SANOMAGIC史上、最高の音質でしょう。スピーカーの存在が消え、楽器がそれぞれの位置で鳴っている感じ。
This must be the highest tone quality ever in SANOMAGIC. The speakers have disappeared, and the instruments is making sound at each original position.

スピーカーボックスの響きを生かしつつ、その振動は4本のマホガニーバネで床に伝えない。
The four mahogany springs allow the walls of the speaker box to freely vibrate.

ツイーターは曲種に応じて取り外し可能。20ｃｍフルレンジスピーカーなので、ツイーター無しでも十分に高音が出ます。
The tweeters can be removed according to owner's preference. 20cm full range speakers generate a high note without the tweeters.

ああなんと、弾性支持3号機もできていました(-_-;)。これは初代マホガニースピーカ－に弾性支持台座をつけたもの。
弾性支持台座により、音がさらに生き生きと。試聴したオーディオマニアの方からも絶賛された。
I found that the third elasticity support speaker was also completed (-_-;).

ボックスが軽量なので、こちらは3本バネ。自転車もスピーカーも、まだまだ天井なく進化を続けます。
SANOMAGICはそうでなくちゃ。口笛吹いてどこまでもいこう。
Because the box is light, three mahogany springs are used.
Mahogany bikes and speakers keep evolving without the ceiling in SANOMAGIC.
