2012.10.13 SANOMAGIC Wooden Bicycle

ピアニストの西村由紀江さんのためのスピーカーが完成しました。
小型ながらこれまでのSANOMAGIC技術を全て注入し、最高音質を更新したようです。
マホガニーロードバイク16号機の製造も始まりました。
Mahogany speakers of the pianist, Ms. Yukie Nishimura, was completed,
and making of Mahogany Road Bike No. 16 has started.

両側が西村由紀江さん用のマホガニースピーカー。これまでにない小型ながら２ウェイで背面に開口。
末四郎も完成まで心配していましたが、できてみれば、これまでで最高の音質。力がこもりました。
Both sides are the mahogany speakers of the pianist Yukie Nishimura.
They have two way speakers and baffle-openings at their back.

２ウェイはバランスが極めて難しいとのこと。試行錯誤の結果、ここにたどり着いた。
Sueshiro said that balancing two speaker units is very difficult.
As a result of the trial and error, Sueshiro reached here at last.

内部構造に、木製ならではの新規な加工を施しています。でも、ノウハウなので教えてあげない。
There is a secret feature on the inner surface of the mahogany speaker box.

一ついえることは、前面パネルは厚く、そのほかは異常なほど薄くしてあることです。
マホガニー材以外ではこの薄さの単板は不可能。末四郎いわく、「これは一種の楽器」。
さらに内面に特殊な加工が。音から推測してください。わかるかな。
The front panel is thick and other plates are very thin to improve acoustics.

西村由紀江さんのための製造番号。2012年10月5日、末四郎夫妻とともに西村由紀江さんのコンサートへ小畑も行きました。
西村さんの優しい演奏と、和代人平さんのヒカリエなどとのコラボでとても楽しめました。いいねっ。
豊かな気持ちになれます。本当に素晴らしいコンサートでした！。次回も行きます！。
西村さんからホームページ見ましたと言われてうれしかった。思わず家族にも自慢したくらい。

さて、こちらは11号機。白戸太朗さんがアイアンマンレースで乗った自転車です。
ニスの補修でSANOMAGICへ一時帰宅。このときのレースについて白戸太朗さんのコメントはこちら。

おーおー、アイアンマンレースの出場自転車にだけ貼られる[iM]シール。めちゃめちゃ貴重ですな。白戸太朗さんと180km走った証です。
Valuable iM seal pasted only on the bicycles participating the Ironman race.

フレームの下にも[iM]シールが貼られています。これも、SANOMAGICロードバイクの性能の証といっていいですよね。
Another iM seal is pasted on the down tube of Mahogany Bike 11. These seals certificate the performance of the mahogany bikes.

11号機もオーナーから大事にされているようです。全身がぴかぴか。
Mahogany Bike 11 is valued by the owner.

[ｉM]の入れ墨は宝物。オーナーも一生消さないそうです。
"These iM seals are treasures", the owner said.

先日の素晴らしいレース成績と、さらなるフレーム改造について話し合う長命さんと末四郎。来年はさらに凄い成績になりそうです。
Mr. Chomei and Sueshiro are talking about his excellent race result and future reform of the mahogany frame of Mahogany Bike 7.

マホガニーロードバイク16号機の部品がほぼ完成した。一歩一歩さらなる高みを目指します。
Parts of Mahogany Bike No. 16 have been almost completed. SANOMAGIC aims at higher performance of future bicycles.
