2012.11.3 SANOMAGIC Wooden Bicycle

SANOMAGICは幕張メッセでのサイクルモード2012 (2012/11/2-4)に出展しています。
小畑も11月3日に見学に行ってみました。相変わらず凄い自転車人気でした。
SANOMAGIC exhibited mahogany bikes at Cycle Mode International 2012 held in Makuhari Messe on November 2 to 4, 2012.

今回、会場のほぼ真ん中に「ハンドメイドの魔術師たち」というエリアが設けられ、その中にSANOMAGICが展示しています。
This time, a special area titled "Magicians of Handmade" is provided at the center, and SANOMAGIC has a booth in it.

SANOMAGICブースは人だかり。昨日、NHK「首都圏ネットワーク」による取材が放映され、それを見たよ、という人も多かった。
The SANOMAGIC booth is crowded.
Because SANOMAGIC was introduced yesterday on a television program "Metropolitan area network", many guests said "I have seen the program".

長命さんが7号機で走るビデオをテレビで流しつつ、マホガニースピーカーで音楽を流し、T2と小径2号機を展示。
Mahogany Bikes T2 and MWR-2 are exhibited.
A video, in which Mr. Chomei and Mahogany Bike 7 is running, is continuously displayed, and mahogany speakers play sweet music.

試乗はできませんが、触るのはOKです。持ち上げて軽いと驚く人が続出。
You cannot ride the mahogany bikes in the booth, but you can touch it. All visitors were surprised at the light weight of the mahogany bike.

小径2号機のオーナーKさんはさっそくマホガニー小細工を始めています。ライトにはマホガニー板が張られている。かっこいいね。
The owner, Mr. K, has already started to customize the mahogany bike MWR-2. The mahogany thin plates are attached on the headlight.

シフターアジャスターもマホガニーでカバーされた。
The shifter adjuster was covered with mahogany thin plates.

ブレーキケーブルの先端にはイカリ型のエンド。もちろんマホガニー製。
SANOMAGICの新製品ですか、と聞かれることも多いですが、これらは小径車2号機オーナーのKさんの作品です。
子供がシフトレバーを触ると、だめだめ！、という人がKさんです。
Metal end caps were exchanged to mahogany caps having an anchor shape.

末四郎に代わって長命さんが説明する。フレームアシストを体で理解している長命さんの説明は、説得力があります。
Mr. Chomei explains the assist effects of mahogany bikes to many visitors.

サイクルモード全体の中で、もっとも写真を撮られている２台だと思うね。
I believe these bikes were photographed most frequently in the Cycle mode.

自転車に興味がないのに、これだけを見に来た木工関係の人々もいました。
Some people related to woodwork came to see the Mahogany Bikes.
They came to learn the woodworking of Sueshiro though they were not interested in bicycles at all.

一人が持ち上げると、他の人も次々に持ち上げていくのが面白いですな。
When one person tried to lift the mahogany bike, other people lift it one after another. Such scene was interesting.

中国の大手自転車メーカーの方々も興味津々。
People from a major bicycle manufacturer in China are fascinated.

小畑も半日いましたが、人だかりは絶えることがなかった。このホームページのことを話す人も多く、そばで聞いていると、こそばゆいです。
There was a continuous stream of visitors at SANOMAGIC booth. Some visitors said they watched this home page. Thank you!

マホガニースピーカーの音に興味を示す人も多かった。次はぜひ、新木場に来て、真空管アンプで聞いてください。
Considerable numbers of visitors were interested in the sweet sound of the mahogany speakers.

二人とも朝からの接客で「くたびれた～」。明日もう一日。頑張りましょう。
Sueshiro and Mr. Chomei said they got tired of answering to the enthusiastic questions from visitors.

マホガニー中空エアロホイール＋マホガニーハブのすごさに注目する人が少ない感じなので、ぜひここもじっくり見てください。

一日に数回、壇上でトークショーが開かれる。ケルビム今野さんのお話を聞く。
